Topic is on Anorexia and how it affects peoples life including myself. 1. It must be in the proper format. This is NOT a Full Sentence Outline. 2. It must have the proper header. Headers will be on the first page of the assignment ONLY and will be in the following format: Name: (Insert your full name here) Section #: (This is your CRN) Speech Title: (Please come up with a title for your speech) General Purpose: (This will be one of the following: To inform, To entertain, or To persuade) Specific Purpose: (This is a more specific statement that follows the General Purpose. Oral citations are written into the Full-Sentence Outline. Example: According to an article written in 2019 by Heather Silvis, she states that phubbing is a huge problem in interpersonal relationships today. Written citations are at the end of a sentence where research was used. It does not matter if it was paraphrased or quoted, it must have a written citation if it did not come from your own thoughts. A written citation is in APA or MLA format and is in parentheses at the end of the sentence. Example: According to an article written in 2019 by Heather Silvis, she states that phubbing is a huge problem in interpersonal relationships today (Silvis, 2019). 4. It must have a proper works cited or bibliography page at the end. You may use APA or MLA formatting for this. If you are using Microsoft Word, you can use a hack that helps create your works cited page for you.
